Hi! I'm Amanda, and I'm so excited to have the opportunity to showcase my work. Over the years, I've written and made all kinds of things. Professionally and for myself. I love taking information from different sources, translating and transforming it into something useful and filled with intention. Sometimes, this comes in the form of creating something with words, other times it’s building something from clay. Most often, I work by myself, quietly creating new works. I also treasure working together with individuals and teams, to create one-of-a-kind resources. 

My Story

I've always loved sharing pieces of my heart with others—most often, this takes the form of writing—although in recent years I’ve also expanded to my pottery and art. My professional writing career started in 2000, after landing a research assistant position at a small business. From there, I've been able to compile and translate research, run focus groups, interview stakeholders and experts, manage and write grants, create evidence-based products, design websites and games, find funding opportunities, pitch article ideas, and generally dive in to all kinds of content. I love to write, I love to work and share with people, and I love to learn new things.

I live in Philadelphia with my sweet son and wonderful husband. I adore traveling and exploring,  making new things, reading outside, and dancing in my kitchen.
